A stay in Padmini Haveli allows guests to enjoy the historical sites within the vicinity after a short walk among traditional houses, sacred cows and the friendly and inquisitive villagers.

Your hosts can also organize vehicles such as auto rickshaws and cars to visit the Fort or for a journey to explore the town below. With some notice, Parvati or Sudhir can take you on guided tours to local places of interest.

Every evening around sunset, there is a marvelous hour-long Sound & Light show in the Fort at Kumbha Palace. This show is in both English and Hindi.

There is also a choice of half or full day guided tours to visit the villages near our farmhouse and fields, travelling in an open safari jeep, on horseback of on foot. A packed lunch and drinks can be arranged with advance notice. Fees vary according to your choice of activity.

There are great opportunities for horse riding around the lower part of fort chittorgarh, which afford you the opportunity to explore the true village life of south eastern Rajasthan.
